In one of the poorest neighborhoods in the southern suburbs of Beirut, an association created an educational center and a health center, an oasis in a desert of poverty. These marginalized children have little to no access to an education. This center provides them a place where they can learn and grow. Almost free medical care is offered to marginalized and extremely poor families, as well as to Syrian refugees.

Girls who are the victims of domestic violence, incest and forced marriage are hosted in a protected setting near Beirut. In this warm home, they receive an education or vocational training, medical care, psychological and social support.

Access to information is essential in the fight against illiteracy. In order to succeed in today's world, poor children need to be connected. This vocational school offers unemployed and poor youth professional training in the field of construction, electricity and information technology. In addition the school provides training to teachers and give them a job by opening computer centers in local schools.

It welcomes children after school to enable them to play, study and make friends. Instead of being lured into the streets or watching TV alone at home, these children from disadvantaged backgrounds, are welcomed and can develop their talents, their creativity and imagination through educational games and an attentive, caring management.
